Southampton Airport is served by a dedicated mainline railway station, Southampton Airport Parkway, on the South Western Main Line from London Waterloo (just 66 minutes away) and Winchester to Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth with a fast and frequent service to those places. The station is conveniently located just a 60 second walk from the terminal (one of the closest airport links across Europe).
The airport is also located close to the junction between the M3 motorway and M27 motorway, giving easy road access to Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and places between.

Important information: Road works to Wide Lane and Mitchell Way (near to Southampton Airport) will commence on 10th January 2011, lasting 24 weeks. Works will be carried out on the existing road to provide a new signalised junction to the new rail station car park, and better facilities for pedestrians and cyclists. Disruption is expected to be kept to a minimum, however it is advised to allow extra time when travelling to the airport.
Buses and coaches
Southampton Airport boasts fantastic transport links with local bus operators to the city centre. Journey time to the city centre is approximately 35-40 minutes.
Uni-link
The U1C bus service operates between Southampton Airport, Southampton University, the city centre and waterfront. It runs every 15 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes at weekends and public holidays. One bus even has on-board wi-fi internet access.
